Race tracks

The race track has completely been changed as compared to 2009

Swimming will take place as before in the lake in Schoten, but the bike and the run parts underwent a thorough facelift.  In corporation with local authorities, we have developed a track witch is completely situated in the center of town.

Swim

The start will take place from a floating pontoon.

The temperature of the water usually is about 20°C in June. The track is 1500 m long and has to be covered in two laps of 750 m each.

The swim start will occur from a pontoon.

Bike and Run

The bike and run tracks are situated in the centre of Brasschaat. After a small junction track from the lake, racers will join the “ Bredabaan” in the centre of  Brasschaat.

The Bredabaan will be completely traffic-free for the race. After crossing the finish line for the first time at the town hall, six more laps have to be completed.

The bike track is completely flat.

After you have crossed the transition area near the church, two short laps have to be run through the town that is rich in green parks.

The run track passes over paved roads only.
